Opening Times 2017

The Great Cockcrow Railway is open every Sunday from 7th May until 29th October. We operate from 1.30pm till 5.00pm with the booking office closing at 4:45pm.

We will also be running on Wednesdays from 2nd to 30th August. Trains run from 1:00pm till 4:00pm, with the last tickets being sold at 3.45pm.

Additional and Special Dates

Gala

The 2017 Gala will take place on Sunday 10th September. We will be inviting nearly 20 engines and their drivers from around the country to visit us over the course of the weekend. Many of them stay to help us run our normal Sunday service. So come along and see  some new things to look at and enjoy.

Halloween

Our Halloween evening will be held on Saturday 28th October 2017, with the first trains departing at around 4.30pm. This a really fun event, with many of our passengers (and staff!) coming dressed and made up for the occasion. Trains run till approximately 8.00pm.

Riding round in the dark is a totally different experience and can be quite scary, even for regular travellers!
